One year and one month after using my Blackberry Keyone it began separating. The back panel popped up from the body and at first I could push it back in place. I take great care with my electronics and usually keep a phone for 4 years and beyond. I have never dropped it nor has it succumb to damage.
Calling Blackberry support offered no solace. Because it was a one year warranty they have washed their hands of it. The problem is worsening. I am forced to get a different metal case to just keep the phone intact. I believe the battery is inflating as it seems to be the area where the back case cannot be inserted. There are visible burn marks on the battery itself and I believe this will eventually result in a rupture.
