This is with reference to my Vodafone mobile number +91 9979889197.in the month of December 2019; i changed my plan from complaint paid to prepaid for which I entered in to plan for 3 months. However, due to my overseas visit/stay, I had to change my plan for which I arranged deposit of rs.1500/- in the main balance so that I continue to receive SMS for my all my banking and other activities. As per the information given by the Vodafone store at Vadodara every month there will be deduction of Rs. 99/- plus Rs. 24/-towards recharging plus taxes as applicable which was coming to around RS.138/- per month but from march 2020, they started deducting abruptly for which there is not record available in the system or no communication is being sent. In the month of May 2020 deduction of about Rs. 661.38 are made for which also there is no justification or communication. While contacting on their customer service number you get automated voice message continuously and no one is coming on line even after holding for more than half an hour. I sent number of e mails to customer care as well as appellate authority even though
there is no response.
Following are my pending issues and grievances:
1. My refund amount of Rs. 2974.58 is pending since December 2019 which they are not depositing to my account or sending cheque to my parent’s home in vadodara in spite of repeated request.
2. unwarranted services are being activated and charges are deducted without permission if you want to deactivate the same they ask for SMS reply on their toll free number 155223,but since I am out of country they charge Rs.30/-to Rs. 45/- for each cancellation. On 1.05.2020 they activated caller tune service and on 28.05.2020 they activated fun box and they send message that as per your request service has been activated .if we cancel the service they delete the message from the record. Moreover, nothing is appearing in my account as they intentionally do not update the record.
Till date in spite of activating DND(Do not disturb) services, they keep on activating value added services and deduct charges.
3. Monthly charges for the required service are made as per their whims and will.
4. No response over customer care number or e mails.
5.All undue charges deducted needs to be refunded.
I found their customer service is one of the poorest among all mobile service provider and their intentions are to exploit customers.
