Text of Complaint by Mayur Nandurkar:

Last month I have started using Tata play Dish. Along with the Dish I received Tata play Binge fire stick. First month subscription of Binge stick was Free.

I did not use this Binge stick for even 1 minute in my first free month.

In next month the amount of 299-/ was deducted from my Tata play account without any prior notice. Without any notification Rs 299 -/ were deducted.

I tried to find the option in App to stop from auto renewal, but I couldn’t find it.

I spoke to customer care, they said this amount is not refundable.

I genuinely did not like this, I don’t encourage this incident at all.

I earn my money by hard work and don’t like it to be taken/given by/to something which I do not use.

Kindly let me know if you can forward this complaint to any responsible person who can take action on this matter.

  1. They are fraud, they deduct money from consumers wrongfully I have also been charged for rs 299 and this month. Everytime a representative talk they change the story on how it’s activated.

    Past two days have been a constant headache where I as a consumer have been wrongfully blamed for a system issue that is clearly faced by a lot of people.

    Who would continue with such a fraudant company, and on what trust?

    Hope the people making such fraud strategy realise that this way they are only hurting their reputation and sooner or later they will lose the customer. There are a lot of nice DTH and OTT platform available, would be shifting to jio services soon, they know value of customer.
