I had ported my vodafone number 9873022961 to airtel last year. In march vodafone suddenly raised overdue amount of rs 498 and asked to pay amount otherwise sim will be closed. I asked for detailed bill but they did not send. Later on 4th may i got sms from airtel to pay the overdue amount otherwise the sim will be deactivated. I asked airtel also to give me bill so that i can see the how the overdue is raised after long time. But airtel also didnot replied to that. I have mail proof for that. The on 21st may morning, airtel closed my sim without any reminder or just warning. Amid this lockdown i was shocked on this harsh step by airtel. I contacted customer care but no one provided me any satisfactory reply. I went airtel store and they asked me to pay overdue amount to vodafone and then the number will be activated. I paid the amount to vodafone and share the transaction detail with airtel store employee. Today when i asked airtel store they are saying now that go and contact vodafone because they have closed that. No body is giving exact and authentic statement. I am totally disappointed by airtel action of closing sim amid this lockdown. I suffered a lot due to this. I am mentally harassed by airtel now. My alternate number is 9716932602.
