I was offered a form-filling job from magnify tech solution. I sent my aadhar card over e-mail. The next day I received a call to fill my details on a website with an image of Rs.100 bond paper. I filled in my details and uploaded my photo, signature, and adhaar details. Then, they created an ID for me on the website https://magnifytechsolution.com and told me to refrain from logging in before the joining date. I was supposed to open the website and enter the data on 29th July 2022. I started my work on the date. And, to my notice, I saw all the forms I filled were incorrect. I realized that it was a fraud. I tried calling the company, telling them I don’t need the work. And now, I am being threatened to either pay or wait for legal notice. They even started using abusive language over the calls.
I reported the incident on cybercrime and waiting for their response. Police told me to calm down and inform them if they start threatening after the period in bond ends, i.e., after six days.
Let’s see what happens after that time.
