I uploaded my resume on Quikr jobs, the company named Optibase contacted me on 02 Jun 2021. A girl called me with this no. +919081466982 and gave details about the job. I agreed as its just typing job. Then they asked for my email id, photo identity proof as my aadhar card. After giving all of that to her on whatsapp, she immediately made an online fake agreement and forwarded the same to me on my Whatsapp along with a demo work paper. She told me that you will get a verificaton call before starting the work.
Within 5 mins a Guy called me stating that I am calling from Optibase and its an verification call and just very quickly reading their agreement, he asked me if I’m in or not. Then I took decision that said them that I dont have PC and I cannot complete fill 600 forms in 5 days in time from my mobile. So I denied to take the work and told them to cancel my agreement.
On 27 Jun 2021, at 12noon I got an message on Whatsapp from Anand Desai stating that I am a legal advisor of this company and told me to check my email. When I checked the email, an mail was there in his name stating that “the optibase company filled a complaint against you. I have sent you an email regarding this. Whether you resolve the issue by paying the amount of Rs. 72101 to the company or I’ll take this complaint to the court. The email was sent on 10:15 am and it was given in that email that if you don’t resolve the issue then by 12:30 pm sharp then you will have to answer in court about this.
I tried to contact them immeduatelt on +919081466982 several times but they did not answer. Then I contacted my personal Advocate and told him and discussed everything about this matter.
This is a matter of concern and I kindly request our judiciary and law makers to look in to this matter and these kind of defaulters should be punished with rigorous imprisonment so that in future nobody should ever gonna do any fraud with anyone in view of offering jobs.
I would also request you to kindly protect my aadhar card details from this fake Optibase company.
