I had applied for a part time job on Quikr. I immediately started getting texts on WhatsApp. I responded to one such text which said I had to type out resumes, 600 in 6 days. I was made to sign a contract, they asked for my adhaar card pictures. They had said that if I violate the rules of the company then I’ll have to pay compensation. When I asked what did they mean by violation of the rules. They said I cannot share the credentials with anyone, I cannot login from multiple devices, I cannot work from multiple locations. I followed all of that. I even worked for two days. Suddenly on the third day, my ID got blocked. I called the customer care number given and two hours later, I got a call from Krishna Vyas, who claimed himself to be from the legal team of the company. He sent me an email which said that just because I had signed the contract, of which I don’t have a copy, I will have to pay the penalty. If I want to start working with them again, I’ll have to pay ₹9420/- which will be refunded with my salary. If I want to terminate then I’ll have to pay ₹9999/-. They threatened me to pay and said if I don’t pay they will take legal action. They also forced me to send an email saying that I will be paying the compensation and that no legal actions should be taken against me. I got scared and I sent it and then I understood that this was a huge scam and decided not to pay.

THEY MESSAGE ME ON 14/10/2022 ONWHATSAPP ABOUT THE JOB AND SAID PLS SEND YOUR ANY ID PROOF FOR THE JOB SO I SEND THEM MY ID PROOF THEN THEY MASSAGE ME THAT NOW YOU GO TO THIS LINK AND GET LOG IN AND START WORKING FOR OUR COMPANY SO I LOGIN TO THE SITE AND THERE WAS A AGGREEMENT WHICH WAS NOT SINGH BY ME BUT THERE WAS MY SINGH AND IT WAS ATTACHED WITH THE BAD TERMS AND CONDITION AND THE AGGREEMENT WAS ALSO FAKE AND THE ATTECHED STAMP PAPER WAS ALSO FAKE BECAUSE I CHECKED THE STAMP ON THE OFFICIAL SITE OF E STAMP CHECK AND THE STAMP PAPER WAS ALSO ISSUED ON 03/10/2022 BUT THEY HIRE AND CALLED ME ON 8TH OF OCTOBER AND AFTER THIS I WAS CONFUSED AND CHECK ABOUT THIS AND SEEN MANY VIDEOS AND BLOGS ON YOUTUBE ABOUT THIS FRAUD OF DATA FILLING JOBS THEN IMMEDIATELY I MESSAGE THEM THAT I HAVE TO LEAVE THIS JOB SO THEY SAID NO NOW YOU CANNOT QUITE THIS JOB YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK OR ELSE YOU HAVE TO PAY 7000. OR ELSE THEY WILL TAKE LEGALLY ACTION

Sir i got a message for data entry job i worked in it after 1 day he blocked my account and now he is asking me for 7250 rs and saying that if you don’t give then i will get you f.i.r , so can you tell me whether it is real or fake please sir
