Hathway Data Services, which seems to be faking to provide online data entry jobs had contacted me through WhatsApp and after getting me registered, they made me sign (digitally) an agreement.
They provided me the software wherein i was supposed to fill 600 forms. And if I provided 90% accuracy, they’d pay Rs. 40 per form.
They laid down conditions like
1) Theres should not multiple account logins
2) There shouldn’t be change in IP address and location
3) Logout after every login
But the site crashed each time I logged into it showing “Database error” , due to which I couldnt logout.
Now they’ve sent an email asking to pay penalty for breach of agreement. They’ve laid down 2 options
1) Terminalistaion.
For which they’d charge Rs 9,500
2) Activation
For which they’d charge Rs 7,500.
I went for none of the options. They started threatening me via Advocate Shweta M Joshi.
She also sent me softcopy of Legal Notice, which seems to be fake
