Respected Sir/Ma’am,

I have been using Creditt app (Credify Technologies Pvt Ltd) for the past few years and since the beginning whenever I took a loan, I paid on or before the due date. I took a loan in May 2022 as I left my previous job and needed the money to manage my expenses until my new job’s salary comes through. But unfortunately, I lost that job during the recession and because of the same reason, I have been struggling to find a new job.

When the Creditt recovery team reached out to me regarding the delayed payment, I shared my situation with them but they showed no regard and kept on denying to allow me time to make the payment. I tried my best to explain to them that I had all the intentions to pay and I will once I arrange some money. Even though I was cooperating with them, they reached out to my contacts and shared my personal information such as the loan contract, legal notice, my photo, and a long message stating that I am a willful defaulter. Some of those contacts were my clients and others were people I barely know. The same day when I got to know about this, I contacted them again and their response was plain disgusting. I believe they don’t audit their agents’ calls so that they can talk to customers as harshly as they can. Immediately after the call, I sent an email to their Payments and Grievance team to escalate this matter, but no one has yet responded to that.

I am writing this to you with the hope that you will be taking appropriate action to ban this company. What they are doing is purely unethical and inhuman. They charge high interest from people and then harass them, both mentally and verbally to pay. Kindly take the necessary actions to prevent this from happening to somebody else.
