Text of Complaint by Vipul Sheth:

We have purchased a  big 547 liter LG refrigerator, a costly product, which was delivered on the 17th of Oct 2020. There are sticker tapes applied at many places of the fridge. we received the demo on how to use on the very same day. The person left after giving the demo on how to use the product. After the person left we started removing the tapes on the fridge, as we had to arrange items in the fridge which would get spoilt so we started removing the sticker tapes that were there. Upon removing one of the tapes on fridgeer door we noticed that there was a dent below the sticker. we immediately called up the demo person and informed him.But instead of understainding the problem he started saying that we should have shown him in his presence while he was giving the demo. We explained him that how can we touch the product before getting the demo, but he didnt listen to us. We then lodged the complain with the dealer (Snehanjali Electronics shop, Kandivali, Mumbai) from where we had purchased the product. Even they too didnt help us. After lot of explaination, they said they will  just lodged a complain (which they said is done as per them) but didnt give any complain no. After a couple of days of follow up with the dealer and Demo engineer, we found out the service centre whats app no and lodged the complain. we then got the service centre no and spoke to them and explained the issue. They booked the complain and gave us an complain no RNP201017061788. We have been everyday without fail following up on LG’s whatsapp no. On one occasion the consumer care person Mr.Satish called us up and he also connected us with the service centre manager Mr.Ritesh, who first said that they will give us extension for warrantyfor six months, which we didnt accept, upon our non acceptance of warranty extension he said he will get the door replaced within seven working days but still as on today the complain has not been resolved. Everyday we are following up with them and they are giving false promise and fooling us that someone will contact and your complain will be resolved, but still today it has not been done.

The product in discussion is a Fridge, a most important item in a house where we have to store so many Items which would get spoilt if they are kept outside. Still as on date we are not being able to use the fridge to its fullest as we are not clear as to what decision we will get.

We are really upset now. It has become like a mental harrasement, everyday we are replied back that your problem will be resolved. Everyday we have to leave aside our regular work and without fail follow up with them to know, what is the status of our complain ?

Sir/Mam, request you to please help us and get the problem resolved. Also we would like compensation (apart from the complain resolution) from the company for all the mental harrasement that we are going thru everyday.
