Text of Complaint by Shahbaz Amin:

I have booked the courier service on 10-06-2024 , I paid 2600/- to dtdc courier for 2 cartons containing books. They agreed and informed me that your package will be delivered within 4-5 days. i choosed dtdc because i wanted the package to be delivered as soon as possible. The main issue arised when the parcel got delayed and was delivered on 18-06-2024. It was delivered after 8 days and that too in a pathetic condition. One of the cartons were partially opened and few books were missing. and the other carton was so damaged that the books inside them were torned and received in a complete damaged state. I made a verbal complaint through their customer care on 18-06-24 and they told me that the issue will be resolved within 24hrs but I got no response . The same day I raised a query through their Website but received no response. I used to raise a query daily in their website but got no response from dtdc. On 22-06-24 , I again called the dtdc customer care and informed them about receiving damaged package and they told me that they will revert back within 4hrs. But no response was provided. Its been 8 days day since the package was delivered to me in a damaged state. I raised query 11 times and called them twice and till now I got no response. This is case of sheer violation of consumer rights and denial of service to the customer. I have attached the images of damaged package as well as the invoice of the booking made with dtdc courier.
