I placed an order for Black boots from Myntra last month and had my shoes delivered to me in the 31st March 2024. The moment I opened the box I found out that the sole of the shoes were rough and it looked used to me . So I instantly arranged for an exchange for the same size. The exchange was scheduled on the 10th April , when the guy came to pick up the item he dint accept it. I told him the very reason I am exchanging is , is because of the defect. He said I ll come back again , I instantly contacted customer care they assured not to worry (in their very scripted language) and opened a query to resolve it in the next 48 hrs ) obviously nothing happened in 48 hrs I kept following up and then by the 16 April , I was so furious that I called them and asked them to just take the product back and refund me my money . By this time I realised that Myntra very smartly stalled time so my return window also get closed and I be helpless because of that . I mean I received the order ion the 31 they took 10 days to arrange and exchange and then took another 6 days to work on the query. The last guy I spoke to , assured me that the exchange is approved and once that happens you simply refuse to take exchange this way it can returned. I was like ok ! Now much to my shock the next day Myntra has resolved the query themselves by saying that we can’t do anything the product was delivered to you in proper condition. I reached out to there grievance officer but nothing’s done. Now I am sending them legal notice and I am so prepared to take this to the consumer court. I think Myntra messed with a wrong lawyer !
