My family is a high fan of IFB brand, so I purchased IFB top load washing machine (Model: SGDG 7.0 Kg AQUA) from GRIAS, Gudvacherry showroom on 25th May 2020.
Over a period of 1 month we noticed some damage in the fabric after washing but was not sure if the damage was due to the washing machine. It took 2 months for us to realize that the damage in fabric was due to the washing machine after washing. (damage images attached for reference)
So I raised a complaint ticket on 25th July and the service engineer responded to the ticket the same day and escalated to the next level. I got a replacement ID on 28th of July.
It is almost 2 weeks time from raising the ticket, still my issue was not resolved and the machine replacement was not done. Today I am writing this mail with so much pain after repeated follow up with the local service engineer.
Today my family’s attitude towards the IFB brand is very annoying. I bought this machine for my wife after her maternity to help her household work, but ended up in burning my fingers.
I almost lost INR 10000 worth cloths and fabrics which is of no use now.
To my last hope I am writing this complaint with a hope that IFB team will respond to my request at the earliest.
