I Taniya Chakraborty ,on 12/02/2023 while scrolling thorough my Instagram account came in knowledge to contact a loan app namely ” U MONEY APP” which intimated to give me loan of 1000 for 6 days . In sudden emergency and requirement of money I installed the app ,after a said form was filled by me including my account number and cibil score, based on a condition to within which I have to return the said amount , that is from 13/02/2023 to 18/02/2023. Incase of delay I have to pay a daily penalty of
rupees 50 per day . Meanwhile after I applied for such loan no withdrawal option was clicked or applied by me.
It was to my utter surprise on the very such next day I came to know through notification that my account was being credited by rupees 550 from an unnamed account. On 20/02/2023 I received a call from 8012502370 who adress themselves as “U MONEY” officials and threatened me to return 1000 thousand rupees immediately or my they will circulate my photo to porn sites . Immediately after receiving such call i returned rs 1113 thorough their app with my UPI I’d . But the said app still shows an over due of rs 1250 . Thus such situations made me to come before this forum praying and seeking justice and punishment of the said authorities of “U MONEY”
