I have applied for data entry or just typing work on Quikr and received a call From Riya she said that I have to fill 700 forms in 6 days and it is free I will get Rs. 25 for each form which is Rs. 17500 for the whole work of 700 forms.
I thought that the work was decent and I had to pay no money to a company to get the work started so I said yes to RIya then she asked me to give my details like name, Gmail ID, age and Aadhar card.
Then she created my ID and I started my work in the mind of the work I asked for payment proof from Riya and she said that she could not provide the payment proof as it contained the details of the clients, I thought that the site was fake and I stopped to do work. After some days she messaged me on WhatsApp that the company was sending me the legal notice at my residence address with my ID proof signed agreement copy and all the details. Also, I will receive court notice with a 25000/- penalty. She said that if I deny then the company will take strong action against me.
I was scared by reading this message and immediately contacted to her that I wanted to quit the work she said that I had to take NOC and could leave the work for which I had to pay 4000/-. I said that if there was any other way then she said that I could take an extension for 2-3 days and complete my work for which I had to pay 4000/-.
I was very tense that I had to pay a large amount either 4000 or 25000 as a penalty. Then my friend suggested I search on Google about the company whether it is fake or real. I found that the company is fake and if you do the work either they will stop your site and ask you to pay to get the site started again or they will intentionally figure out the mistakes in your entries and ask you to pay for that.
Also, in one such Quora answer, it was returned that they will send you a fake notice by the court which will not have a CNR number and as you ask for the CNR number they will not reply to your calls and messages.
