This is regarding a fake call I received this morning saying that I am selected among 5 other people for some kind of amazon promotion
I received the call from the this number from a person named Anisha Sharma from accounts section of sales and promotion department from Amazon
I was given a list of gift options and was asked to choose any one of the gifts as below.
1. Dell laptop 15.6 inches
2. Sony LED TV 40 inches
3. Apple iPhone 11
4. Voltage AC 1.5 tons
5. LG refrigerator 350 lts double door
I selected the 1st option and they gave me a reference number of the product – B07ZG5W9QN which was the number for the Laptop and asked me to add it into cart. Along with this they asked me to select any product worth 5000 and buy that product and along with this order they will send the gift product also.
I selected Amazon gift card worth 5000 and added it to cart. They asked me to make an online payment through amazon pay and not the regular mode of payment.
I got a doubt at this stage and called the Amazon customer care. They told me that this is a spam.
Your imediate action and help will be highly appreciated.
