Hi all,
First and foremost thanks for providing me the service for almost a decade. Being a beloved Airtel customer I was always happy with the service that I got till to date.
But recently I encountered a worst customer service experience in my life and which is from Airtel itself . Recently my sim was not working and I have get a new sim since the sim is registered in my mother’s name she went all the way to the store to get the SIM card and it was told after 4 hours the sim will get activated ( I was out of station so my mother went).
Almost a day went still the SIM card wasn’t activated and when I tried calling customer care through another number to be honest almost tired for 2 hours but none of the agent picked up the call that’s were I got to know one of the pathetic customer care service of Airtel.
Then next day my mother went to the airtel store were she got that SIM card.
Another shocking customer care experience the person who attended earlier for providing the sim didn’t even activate the SIM card and he made my mother to wait for long as she’s already a patient.
On top of this that executive didn’t even attend or cared to solve this problem and the person name is Mr. Mahesh
He seems to be busy attending other people and he ignored about the already existing issue.
Here comes another executive Mr.Edward . Since my mother is not aware of these process she called me and I told her that I’ll speak to the executive.
First time in my life I had experienced a rude executive and I’m really sorry to say this but ya the way they responded as if they don’t care about the other customers problem and what I can do it’s not my business and I have not attended this issue I’m sorry I don’t have answer for your questions these were all the replies I got and I got hell shocked after hearing such things.
I was very much worried if they approach a person over a phone call like this and how will they treat a person in real and how my mom would have been treated and all these thoughts were going on my head.
No wonder Airtel already lost a lots of customers and count me as one of them going forward.
Please kindly look into these and let ur employees know how to treat their customers
Such a bad experience and I would never trust airtel going forward and surely will post this experience in social media and let the world knows about the other face of customer care service provided by airtel
The experience I faced is from the adyar airtel branch and I got to know the manager name is Janet so please take care of your employees and customers
And I’m not sure how effective this mail will be and if people considering this as serious then please at least take some necessary action towards it and if any further information required I’m ready to provide from my end
