Dear Sir/Madam

We have been long term corporate customers of Airtel & myself for the last 13 years. Recently (On Oct 08, 2020), I lost my mobile device connected with my Airtel # 98804-75675 due to theft during my transit to office (EDC Creative Technology Solutions) and by extension SIM Card attached to the phone. I requested Airtel to deactivate the SIM Card on the Mobile to prevent any misuse and asked them provide me a duplicate SIM Card. Deactivation of the lost SIM Card was done immediately and a new blank SIM Card was provided. However, Airtel executives in Karthiknagar (Mr. Naveen) and Brookefield (Mr.Jagdish) in Bnagalore have been harassing us by making us run from pillar to post to get my SIM Card activated. Intially they said I have not registered my e-mail ID with Airtel which is NOT true (as we have been getting monthly bills for my account on my registered e-mail ID ([email protected]) for the last 5-6 years. We followed due processes requested by Airtel executives to register my account with Airtel by providing all key documents associated with EDC on your Airtel Portal following which we were told my SIM Card would be activated in 48-72 hours. It’s beyond 96 hours now and till now SIM Card has not been activated and I have been out of contact with family and friends for over 2 week due to severe inconvenience caused by inactivation my SIM Card/Phone. Being not in connection with family and friends during the festival season is particularly harsh on us. Besides being uncooperative, Airtel staff at Brookefield, Bangalore (especially Mr. Jagdish) has been downright rude, impolite and not courteous to our requests and he has been harassing myself and my colleagues. This not what we would expect from a longterm associate of EDC India, Bangalore. I would sincerely request you to look into the matter and do the needful in seeing that my Airtel phone connection is restored.
