Text of Complaint by Shailee Parikh:

I have spent more than 5 hours today talking to Airtel customer service representatives asking to explain the charges imposed on my account for broadband services.

They refuse to share information of any invoice that is over one year. Moreover, when I asked for the past one year invoice, they said they had emailed me till date I have not received any email.

Being a customer, It is my right to get all the invoice and bill details of all the years starting from my 1st day of subscription. Also, it is my right to ask and know the reasons behind any type of charges that were imposed on my account.

Customer service representatives don’t share those details and most of the time provide an excuse stating their tools are not working. They put me one hold for 15-20 mins to speak to a senior and then no one joined the call.

It has been tremendously frustrating to talk to your customer representatives. After wasting my valuable time – 5-6 hours, I still don’t have any information.
The last call with a guy rep was ridiculous. He made me repeat the same questions again and again and when I did he provided wrong information about the bill date and amount, making it impossible to explain to him the issue. He not only wasted my time but first refused to transfer the call to the senior.
