I had borrowed Rs.17000 from creditt plus app downloaded from playstore. I couldn’t pay the loan on time due to untoward emergency in my family. So the loan payment was delayed by a month. They started calling and texting my contacts which were not even the reference contacts that I had given. It lead to a very embarrassing situation. Please do not take loans from these kind of fraud apps that have rude people or goons sitting on the other side of the call. These kind of apps should be removed from playstore.

I was also going to take a loan from this Creditt+ app but before that I felt maybe I should check the internet in case they are also a scam like other apps. The UI seemed legit and in permissions also, they are only taking camera and location permission so how did they access your contacts?
Or did they change their permissions after all these reports?
While applying for the loan, we have to give 10 reference contacts. So are they harassing only those 10 people, or do they have access to the remaining complete contact list?
