I have booked a round trip ticket (MAA to PAT)through MakeMyTrip for 10th April’20. As per update receive from SpiceJet that the mentioned ticket has been cancelled due non-operation of domestic flight because of COVID-19 pandemic. Spicejet has created a CREDIT SHELL for my cancelled ticket of the same amount.
I have received the refund amount as a credit shield in my make my trip account but there are multiple restrictions where I can change the date of the journey only I will not be able to use that amount for another trip for the same passenger name. I could not understand this kind of restriction at all. In April’20 I was supposed to travel to that place but now I don’t have any plan y can’t i use this amount to book ticket otherthen that location. I have a question here about your restrictions on new booking.
At the time I was chasing you to refund the amount so that it Could be useful in my trip, you have neither responded to my call nor to emails. So I traveled thinking that I can use the amount at the time of return. Now you have a different restriction, the amount can be used for the same PERSON ONLY. if the passenger has already traveled and wants to use this amount how could he/she use it if he/she cannot travel again!!
I could see make my trip has given very disappointing services, but this was really not expected!!
Expecting your revert on this with a proper solution!!
