Hi,
I introduce myself as Himantika Sharma and I am user of HDFC bank Credit card Number 5131590102533450.
I have been pretty regular in clearing my credit card outstanding until recently when I missed to clear the outstanding due to a rough patch in my married life which put me in a lot of financial distress.
In all my interactions with HDFC bank I alwasy committed to clear the dues soon provided I am given some additional time. However, my case was passed on to a local collection agency and Mr. Nikul Desai from some local collections agency started visiting my house.
At first, he was pretty nice in his interactions and also offered me that he can help me settle the outstanding amount by getting me good discount. Following to which, he offered me to settle the dues at 55000/-.
I told him that as of now its difficult for me to arrange the money however I will try my best to arrange the same and clear dues.
Since then, he started visiting my house every alternate day and would refuse to leave until I confirm him payment date. One day when I was not at my home, he stood outside my flat for more than 1 hour and inquired about my whereabouts from my neighbours.
My neighbours also told him that I am not at home but he simply didn’t go. I got to know this from my neighbours which caused me great social embarrassment.
Since then he started coming regularly and as a female I found his presence very uncomfortable. The way he talks and keeps staring at me is very scary and frightening.
I understand that I am overdue on my credit card bills however I did not sign up for such social embarrassment and scary looks.
I would request you to please come forward to my rescue and help me get rid of this social embarrassment and mental harassment.
