Respected sir / madam

This is to highlight my experience when I applied for a JioFiber connection in Indraprastha nagar area of Nagpur last week. I had applied for a JioFiber connection on 5 January and got registered for a connection, and completed payment of Rs 1500. The JioFiber representatives by name of Rahil and Aamir Ali (and a third unnamed representative) said that increment of a cassette will have to be done to get a connection. They said increment will be done in 2 days. 1 week went by without any cassette increment. Mr Aamir Ali did not pick up a single phone call by me in this period (at least 10-12 phone calls made by me in this period), showing pathetic service and unprofessional behaviour.
After 7 days suddenly Mr Rahil and the unnamed person came to my house and asked for Rs 700 extra in cash for which no receipt would be provided. They gave reason that Nagpur JioFiber head office will not do the cassette increment, and that there are only 2 options- either I pay Rs 700 extra to them after which they will somehow arrange for the connection on same day by taking unauthorised connection from some other distant cassette, or I will have to cancel my registration. After this they cancelled my JioFiber registration on their own saying we have cancelled it from our side , tomorrow we will come and do fresh registration and also installation in same day if I pay Rs 700 extra in cash to them. They even admitted this is not from Jio company but they are doing this own their own, saying “ye company ke taraf se nahi hai, hum humari level pe kar rahe hain.” I promptly told them to leave as I do not want to be involved in any such corrupt dealings. I applied for an internet connection from another internet service provider same day and got everything installed and running smoothly the next day itself , a service which JioFiber was not able to provide.
I am sending this email to highlight the corrupt and unprofessional dealings of Mr Aamir Ali , Rahil and other JioFiber representatives in Nagpur. I lived in Mumbai for 8 years however never faced any such issue there. This is a Nagpur personnel problem for JioFiber. You have lost a lifetime customer for JioFiber in me because of such illegal dealings, and I will always go for other internet providers now. I am sure there will be many people like me in Nagpur facing similar problems with JioFiber.
I request my complaint to be forwarded to the highest level of management for zonal / Maharashtra level so that they come to know of the corruption ongoing at ground level being done by JioFiber representatives in Nagpur. I am well within my rights to approach consumer court / anti-corruption unit regarding this issue with JioFiber at Nagpur. If action is taken against them by JioFiber senior management and clean up is done at least you will not keep losing customers like me.
