I received a call from a lady named Kavya (Mobile: 88578 41170) regarding a marriage proposal. She mentioned she got my contact number through a marriage bureau and introduced a potential match named Pranay Mali. She suggested a conference call to connect both families for further discussion.
Later, I spoke with Pranay’s mother (Mobile: 88063 16390). She informed me that their family is originally from Kolhapur (Ichalkaranji) and has been living in Vishrantwadi, Pune for a long time. She mentioned that Pranay is working at IBM, her husband is a retired postman, and they also run a grocery shop in Vishrantwadi. She invited me to visit their home to discuss the proposal further.
Pranay’s mother also stated that they liked my profile and were ready to proceed. I was informed that in order to exchange mobile numbers, I needed to pay ₹4,500, with the assurance that 50% would be refunded if a match was finalized within 5 proposals.
I made the payment as instructed:

However, after this payment, both Kavya and Pranay’s mother have stopped responding to my calls and messages. This lack of communication is extremely concerning, and I am beginning to question the legitimacy of this transaction.
