Text of Complaint by Mumjaz Hassan:

I approached to the airtel fibre office at RoopNagar Jammu for the new connection and the concern staff visited at site for the location identification after visiting he said that u have to wait for another 20 to 25 days as we don’t have any provision in the already installed box in the locality so I waited as per his direction. But even after the lapse of one month and above they never called or visited the location. So I personally visited the office and they assured me u will get the connection within days. Accordingly after few days one person by name Nitin 9541306029 came to my place and demanded the documents and he uploaded all the required documents along with my photo and he also explained the tarrif and all other formalities.The same moment he asked me to check my phone that a link has been sent to your registered mobile no. He told me to make the payments online whenever I gets a call to do so. Before leaving hdcsaid you to pay cash amount of around 750 as installation charge for that I said yes I am ready .in addition he said u wiil be charged extra if the cable goes beyond 100 mtrs for that also I agreed. Then on Ist December 2020 i.e Tuesday I got a call from the same fellow Nitin to make the payment of Rs.5234 through on line on the link which I received the day when he completed the documentationa accordingly I made the payment vide transaction I’d 1201406194 on 1st December at 3.19PM .After that the man never turn up or he never bothered to call me regarding the installations as usual I agian called up and enquired the reason for not coming and you will be surprised to know that he said sorry your request for the connection has been rejected due to poor quality of photo image strange I said then why you asked me to make the payments without the approval of the connection. He said it’s not like that we gets oaymeng before and oftenly it happens like that. I said ok then what next he said I will be there by 6.30 pm on 2nd December but he didn’t and showed his carelessness before customer as usual. Today on 3rd December I again called him to come and capture my photo as I will not be available from tomorrow. He said Actually to provide connection is not possible to your home now as it is not feasible I said but you told me requested rejected due to my photo and for that you are supposed to come to my place for recapture of image.then he said no no that is not the case actually we are sorry we are not providing connection. I said hello Mr. What is this every day you are giving different excuses if its not feasible then you should have told me the day one why you asked me to make payments. It is totally cheating with the customers. Then he said you will get your refund. My complaint is that it’s not the question of refund rather itsa big cheat with the customers.its not fair and justice. So kindly look into the matter and address my grevience ..
