Subject: Complaint: Request for Admission Fee Refund and Cancellation of Admission due to Unnotified Study Center Change
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the recent change in the designated study center for the Bachelor of Library Science course at IGNOU University, which was made without any prior intimation during the admission process. This unforeseen change has led to significant inconvenience and has compelled me to seek a refund of the admission fee and cancellation of my admission.
Upon my application and subsequent admission to the Bachelor of Library Science program, I diligently followed all required procedures, including the payment of the prescribed admission fees. However, it has come to my attention that the study center originally designated for my course has been altered without any prior communication from the university’s administration.
This lack of notification has not only disrupted my academic plans but has also imposed additional financial and logistical burdens upon me. As a responsible student, I understand the importance of adaptability; however, the absence of transparent communication regarding such a fundamental change is unacceptable.
In light of these circumstances, I am formally requesting the following:
1. A full refund of the admission fee that I have paid, as the change in the study center was not communicated to me during the admission process. (Opted for Study Centre in Kochi – RC Code -14 Cochin, which changed to CMS College Kottayam)
2. Cancellation of my admission to the Bachelor of Library Science course, considering the inconvenience caused by the unnotified study center change.
I am willing to return any study materials or resources that may have been provided to me as part of the admission process.
I trust that you will take immediate action to address this matter and ensure that the necessary steps are taken to process my refund and cancellation request promptly. Your cooperation and understanding in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
