I am writing to formally report a deeply distressing experience I had at your Jio Service Center located in Uttarahalli, Bangalore.
I visited the center on 7 july 2025 to request an embedded SIM (eSIM). I was the only customer present, yet the staff member I interacted with was rude and dismissive from the beginning. When I asked why he was speaking in such a manner, he refused to activate my SIM and insisted that I turn on Wi-Fi from another device — which was unreasonable, as I had no active connection and was there to get one.
Feeling helpless, I had to approach a nearby tailor and request a hotspot just to complete the activation. After the SIM was activated, the staff member threatened to block my number and refused to provide an invoice for the ₹50 collected for activation.
I felt threatened and enraged by his behavior. I came in as a customer requesting a service, but was treated as if I was at the mercy of someone acting like a dictator, not a service representative. To make matters worse, another customer later approached me and shared that he had faced a similar issue at the same center.
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on Jio’s commitment to customer service.
I request the following:
A formal investigation into the conduct of the staff at the Uttarahalli service center.
A copy of the invoice for the ₹50 collected.
Assurance that no further action will be taken against my number without valid reason.
Confirmation that appropriate disciplinary action will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
Please treat this matter with urgency and respond at the earliest.
