Subject: Complaint Regarding Unfair Auto-Renewal and Refund Denial by QuickTV
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am filing a complaint against QuickTV (quicktv.co.in) for charging me through auto-renewal immediately after the trial period without my explicit consent or intention.
I had taken the trial and forgot to cancel it before the deadline. Despite not using the service after the trial, the company auto-debited the subscription amount. When I contacted the support team, they did not provide any solution or refund.
This qualifies as an unfair trade practice under Indian Consumer Protection rules related to dark patterns and misleading subscription renewals.
I request:
1. Refund of the debited amount
2. Action against the company for denying legitimate consumer rights
