The Hon’ble Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum,
Subject: Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Auto-Debit Transactions via Google Pay to NOV Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against unauthorized transactions that have occurred through my Google Pay account. I am a regular user of Google Pay for digital payments and have always ensured the security and integrity of my account.
On two separate occasions, an amount was deducted from my bank account linked to Google Pay, citing a subscription to NOV Digital Entertainment Private Limited. The transactions were marked as auto-debit payments, allegedly authorized by me. I would like to state unequivocally that:
I have never subscribed to any services offered by NOV Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
I have not granted any permission for auto-debit or autopay to this entity.
These deductions were made without my knowledge or consent, and I consider them to be fraudulent in nature.
I have attached screenshots of the said transactions as proof of the unauthorized deductions.
This incident has caused me financial loss and mental distress. I request the Hon’ble Forum to kindly take the following actions:
Direct Google Pay and the concerned financial institution to investigate and refund the deducted amount immediately.
Initiate appropriate action against NOV Digital Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. for unauthorized access and deductions.
Instruct relevant authorities to block or blacklist the user ID/account of the said company across all digital platforms to prevent further victimization of other users.
Ensure that such lapses in digital payment platforms are addressed with stricter security and user consent protocols.
I trust the Hon’ble Forum will treat this matter with urgency and help in securing justice for me and potentially many other unsuspecting users.
