I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the non-closure of an account on my CIBIL report, despite the passage of more than three months since the account’s closure. I believe it is imperative that credit information is updated accurately and promptly to ensure the fairness and accuracy of credit profiles.

I understand the importance of maintaining accurate credit information to reflect one’s financial history and creditworthiness.This account was satisfactorily settled and closed in accordance with all necessary procedures, and I have the necessary documentation to support this claim.

However, to my dismay, when I recently reviewed my updated CIBIL report, I was disheartened to find that the account in question is still listed as active, thereby negatively impacting my credit score and overall financial profile. This discrepancy has the potential to create misunderstandings and misrepresentations to potential lenders, affecting my ability to secure credit facilities in the future.

I have taken all the appropriate measures to rectify this issue, including contacting your customer service department on multiple occasions and providing the requisite documentation proving the closure of the account. Despite my efforts, there has been no progress in updating the information on my CIBIL report.

I kindly request that you take immediate action to address this matter and update my credit report to accurately reflect the closure of the aforementioned account. I understand that errors can occur, but I believe it is essential that they are resolved swiftly to avoid any undue consequences for consumers.
