Dear Carrier AC Service Customer Care,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent performance of the inverter AC units I purchased from your company for my home approximately two years ago.

Over the past six months, both AC units have been producing excessive noise, causing inconvenience and discomfort. I promptly contacted your service center to address the issue, and to my surprise, I was informed that the motor bearings are responsible for the noise problem. I was further notified that in order to resolve this issue, I would be required to pay a sum of 2500 INR in addition to the visiting charges.

I am deeply disappointed with this response for several reasons. Firstly, it seems highly unlikely that both AC units would experience motor bearing issues simultaneously after only two years of usage. This raises concerns about the initial quality of the products I purchased. As a customer, I expect the products I buy to last for a reasonable period without major malfunctions.

Furthermore, I would like to highlight that I have taken proper care of these AC units by ensuring regular maintenance and servicing as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. Therefore, it is even more surprising and disheartening to encounter such a significant problem within a relatively short span of time.

Considering the circumstances, I kindly request one of the following resolutions:

Full Refund: I request a full refund of the purchase amount for both AC units. This option would allow me to seek an alternative product from Carrier or another reputable brand.

Motor Replacement: If a refund is not possible, I request that both motor bearings be replaced without any additional charges to me. I believe it is fair to expect this service to be covered under the warranty period, as the issues with the motor bearings are not the result of any negligence on my part.

I believe that offering one of the above solutions would be a fair resolution to the situation at hand. I have been a loyal customer of Carrier and have recommended your products to others based on my initial positive experience. However, the current situation has significantly impacted my trust and confidence in the brand.

I kindly request your urgent attention to this matter and a prompt response to resolve the issue. I have attached copies of the purchase receipts and any other relevant documents to support my claim. I believe in your commitment to customer satisfaction and hope that we can reach a satisfactory resolution together.
