Text of Complaint by Vaidun Vidyadhar:

Dear Sir / Madam,

Please see email correspondence below.

I recharged my mobile phone from my IOB bank account for the sum of Rs. 698/- for a 84 days plan.  This recharge was not being reflected in my AirTel account.  So I sent the email below to AirTel to investigate and advise what needs to be done.

I was advised to call 121 for expert advise and that I would be charged 50p per minute for the call.  I informed them by email saying I am in Singapore visiting my son.  I was again advised to call 121.  So I called 121 and tried for about 3 minutes to get in touch with some expert who could solve my problem.  I was not able to.  For making this infructuous call I have been charged Rs. 450/-

I request the sum of Rs. 450/- may please be returned to my account.

Dear Team Airtel,

As advised by you I dialled 121 to speak to your experienced advisor.  After trying for almost 3 minutes I was not able to connect to him.

However I was charged Rs 450/- for my call.  I request you to kindly reverse that charge of Rs. 450/- to my account.
