On 29 July 2024, I recharged my Airtel number using the Airtel website with an amount of Rs. 249. According to the terms and conditions displayed at the time of the recharge, it was stated that any recharge of Rs. 239 and above would provide unlimited 5G data. However, after completing the recharge, I did not receive this benefit.
Upon contacting their customer service, I was informed that the plans had changed, and I would need to recharge with an additional Rs. 101 pack to claim unlimited 5G data. This is in direct contradiction to the information provided on your app during the recharge process.
I find this extremely misleading and unacceptable. Not only was I not informed of the change in plans at the time of recharge, but the terms and conditions on your app still displayed the old information. Furthermore, I was told that processing a refund for the incorrect recharge would take more than one week.
