I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a fraudulent and harassing experience I encountered with a financial credit application named “Scoreclimb,” which is approved on the Google Play Store.
I downloaded the application to secure a loan as per my financial needs. During the registration process, the app mandated access to sensitive personal information, including my contacts, gallery, messages, and videos. Additionally, I was required to provide my PAN card details and a selfie photograph.
Subsequently, the app granted me a loan of ₹1,500 for a tenure of 7 days. However, on the 6th day, I began receiving threatening calls from the app representatives. They blackmailed me by sending AI-generated nude photographs to my WhatsApp number and threatened to share these fabricated images with my family members if I did not repay the loan immediately. Under immense pressure, I repaid the amount.
Following this, the app issued another loan of ₹3,000 without my consent, of which only ₹1,800 was credited to my account. I fear that they will continue to harass and torture me for repayment of this unauthorized loan and may further exploit my personal information.
I am deeply concerned about the misuse of my PAN card and Aadhaar card details, as well as the potential harm to my reputation and mental well-being. I urge you to take immediate action against this fraudulent application and its operators to prevent further victimization of myself and others.
