I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and file a formal complaint against Firebelly Marketing regarding a recent job offer I received, which resulted in significant financial loss and deceptive business practices. I would like to bring to your attention the details of my experience in the hope that appropriate action will be taken to rectify the situation and prevent others from falling victim to this fraudulent scheme.
On 13-June-2023, I received a job offer message on WhatsApp from a representative of Firebelly Marketing, offering me a review job that involved a payment for completing tasks. The initial offer indicated that I would be reimbursed with a commission for the tasks I completed. Intrigued by the opportunity, I proceeded with the application process.
After providing the necessary information, I was added to a Telegram group where I discovered several other individuals engaged in similar tasks. It was during this phase that I was informed that the job involved a prepayment requirement. I was instructed to invest an initial amount of two thousand rupees, which would later be reimbursed along with a commission.
Trusting the legitimacy of the opportunity, I proceeded with the payment and successfully completed the first task. Subsequently, I was instructed to complete two more tasks, with increasing investment requirements. As instructed, I invested an additional fifteen thousand rupees to proceed with the second task.
However, upon completion of the second task, I was unexpectedly informed that in order to receive reimbursement and continue with the third task, I would need to pay an exorbitant amount of eighty thousand rupees. At this point, I began to question the legitimacy of the operation and refused to make any further payments.
The representative from Firebelly Marketing, in response to my refusal, informed me that failure to complete the third task would result in a denial of reimbursement, citing rules from the merchant. This sudden change in terms and the demand for an unreasonable investment left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.
In total, I have incurred a financial loss of forty-five thousand rupees due to this fraudulent scheme. I have attached copies of the chat conversations, phone numbers, and address details that I obtained from the representatives of Firebelly Marketing during our interactions.
Considering the circumstances described above, I kindly request that you take immediate action against Firebelly Marketing and investigate their business practices. It is evident that they have engaged in deceptive tactics and financial exploitation, causing significant harm to individuals like myself.
I also request that you take appropriate measures to ensure that those affected by this scheme are reimbursed for their losses and that steps are taken to prevent Firebelly Marketing from continuing these fraudulent activities. Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide in recovering the funds that I have lost.
I expect a prompt response to this complaint and trust that you will handle this matter with the utmost urgency and seriousness it deserves. Should I fail to receive a satisfactory resolution, I will have no choice but to seek legal recourse and report this incident to the appropriate authorities.
