Text of Complaint by Pranjal Maheshwari:

at your PVR Mall Jaipur branch on 12th April 2025. While making a payment at the sandwich counter in your cinema premises, the executive mistakenly entered ₹19,000.50 instead of the correct amount of ₹1,900.50, due to an extra zero being added. I was unaware until after the transaction was processed. Upon realizing the error, I immediately informed your staff, and your manager Mr. Arjun Singh acknowledged the mistake and assured me that the excess amount would be refunded shortly. He also issued a voucher as a token assurance.

However, it has now been more than two weeks, and I have still not received the refund. Despite repeated follow-ups, the response from Mr. Arjun has remained the same — that “it will be refunded in two days.” This repeated delay is unacceptable and shows a lack of seriousness in resolving the issue.

To make matters worse, when PVR required the payment of ₹1,900.50 to initiate the refund of ₹19,000.50, I was asked to pay immediately — which I did without hesitation. If customers are expected to act instantly, why is PVR not showing the same urgency in processing refunds?

I am attaching the relevant proof of the transaction along with the voucher provided.

I hereby request an immediate resolution and refund of ₹19,000.50 to my account. If this is not resolved within the next 2 business days, I will be compelled to escalate this matter to consumer grievance forums and appropriate legal authorities.
