I am writing to formally address the harassment I have been subjected to regarding a loan of ₹13,000/- disbursed to me on 5th March 2024. As per the communication from your NBFC customer care team, the loan tenure was for 30 days, with a due date of 4th April 2024.
Unfortunately, I have been unemployed for over six months, which has made it extremely difficult to fulfill my financial responsibilities. Despite explaining my situation, I have continuously received harassing calls and messages from your customer care team, threatening to contact my relatives, workplace colleagues, and even superiors regarding the repayment.
Today, I received a call and message from a person named Kavya, who labeled me a “thief” (chor) and used inappropriate and abusive language. Additionally, she sent similar messages to my cousin Mr. Ratan Singh, which is both unprofessional and deeply distressing.
I acknowledge my mistake and assure you that I intend to repay the loan as soon as I secure employment. However, I request that the harassment stop immediately. No further communication should involve threats or contacting my relatives.
If this behavior continues, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the appropriate authorities, including filing a formal complaint about mental harassment and defamation. In the unfortunate event that this undue pressure causes me irreparable harm, I will hold Bharat Loan entirely responsible for the consequences.
Please acknowledge this email and take immediate action to ensure such incidents do not recur. I am hopeful for your understanding and cooperation in resolving this matter amicably.
