I am writing to report a fraudulent transaction that occurred after placing an order through a link on Instagram. I ordered two cargo pants worth Rs. 899 from what appeared to be a legitimate website. The order was confirmed and marked as on its way. However, on the day of delivery, I was not home, and a family member received the package on my behalf. Upon opening the package, we discovered two blue jeans that were not even close to the quality or type of product I had ordered.
Upon attempting to rectify the situation, I found that the website had disappeared, and all contact information provided, including the email address and phone number, were invalid. It has become clear that I have been scammed. I also attempted to contact the courier service regarding this issue, but they have not been responsive and are not picking up the call. I seek assistance in addressing this issue and recovering the amount paid for this fraudulent order.
