I applied for a data entry job through a website named “Quickr”. After applying, a person contacted me and explained the process. He asked me to pay ₹499 for registration. I paid the amount. Then he asked for another ₹499 for verification, which I also paid. After that, he again asked for ₹1710 for complete application and he said this is final step, and assured me each time that the money was refundable and trustworthy.
Later, he demanded ₹3790 for “user id generation”. I refused to pay this amount and asked for a refund. He said the refund (₹6822) would only be processed if I paid ₹3790 first. When I said I would file a complaint against him, he threatened me, saying if I spoke about complaints, he would send my details to their “seniors”.
I believe I have been scammed and request that strict action be taken against the individuals involved. I have attached proof of payments and communication, if needed.
