I am writing to file a formal complaint against a person operating under the name @Harpreet_original on Telegram. This individual presented themselves as offering a legitimate investment opportunity, promising significant returns within 3 to 4 hours in exchange for an initial investment. Based on the claims and videos showing supposed success stories of people earning through her, I proceeded with an investment of INR 8,000.
On September 3, 2024, at 11:18 AM, I made the payment via UPI to the account details provided by this person. After the payment, I was assured that I would receive returns within the next few hours. However, despite the commitment, I have not received any returns or further communication that would substantiate her claims of providing such investment services. The behavior of this person raises serious concerns regarding fraudulent activity.
I have attached the necessary documentation, including payment confirmation and the conversation on Telegram, as evidence of the transaction and the claims made by this individual.
I request that appropriate action be taken against this individual for defrauding consumers through misleading and false investment schemes. Additionally, I kindly request assistance in recovering the funds I transferred in.
