Text of Complaint by NARENDRA PRATAP SINGH:

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service provided by Airtel at your Mathura store. I visited the store on [Date] and booked an Airtel Fiber connection by making an advance payment of Rs. 1501.82/-. I also confirmed my address details, and the store representatives assured me that the connection would be installed between 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on 01/Jul/2023, Saturday.

To my dismay, an engineer visited my home and informed me that there is no Airtel line available in my colony. I was told that I would have to wait for an additional 2 days for the connection to be established. Furthermore, an Airtel partner named Rohit suggested that if I pay additional money, he could expedite the process. This approach of demanding extra payment for urgent service is highly unprofessional and unethical.

I visited the store again to address this issue and explained the situation to several staff members. Unfortunately, I received conflicting information from different individuals, with some stating that it would take three days, while others could not provide a definite answer. There was a complete lack of assurance or clarity in their responses. Frustrated with the inconsistency, I finally requested the cancellation of my connection and initiated the refund process.

To my surprise, I was made to wait for an extended period of time. When I inquired about the cancellation, there was no response from the staff. Eventually, I encountered an individual named Mandip, who assured me that he would cancel my connection by the evening and provided me with his contact number. However, this turned out to be a false commitment, as he did not answer my calls. It is highly disappointing to experience such unprofessional behavior from your staff.

I would like to bring to your attention that I have lodged a complaint against the Mathura Airtel store, including the team leader, Pawan, for providing misleading and incorrect information. I am deeply dissatisfied with the overall service experience and the lack of accountability demonstrated by your staff members.

I demand an immediate refund of the amount I paid for the Airtel Fiber connection. The delay, false commitments, and the contradictory information provided by your team have caused significant inconvenience and mental distress. I expect Airtel to take this matter seriously, conduct a thorough investigation into the conduct of the Mathura store team, and ensure that appropriate action is taken against the responsible individuals.
