Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to file a formal complaint against your company and its associated mobile application for engaging in fraudulent activities, specifically through a fake loan app, and subsequently attempting to blackmail me on WhatsApp. I believe it is essential to bring this matter to your attention and seek immediate resolution.
On 19-05-2023, I downloaded your loan application, [Easy Loan] App link : https://bit.ly/3ZpKkrt , from the official app store. I was in need of a loan and thought your app was a legitimate and reliable solution. However, as I began using the app and submitting my personal and financial information, it became apparent that it was a fraudulent scheme aimed at deceiving unsuspecting individuals.
I discovered that the loan app requested excessive personal information beyond what is necessary for a loan application, including sensitive data such as my social security number, bank account details, and other confidential information. I now suspect that this information may have been misused or shared without my consent, potentially putting my financial security and privacy at risk.
To my utmost dismay, following my attempt to uninstall the app, I started receiving threatening messages on WhatsApp from unknown individuals claiming to be associated with your company. These individuals demanded a significant sum of money, stating that failure to comply with their demands would result in the public release of my personal information and damaging my reputation. This malicious attempt to extort me has caused significant distress, anxiety, and fear for my safety.
I strongly condemn such fraudulent practices, as they not only violate legal and ethical boundaries but also jeopardize the trust and well-being of innocent individuals. I expect your company to take immediate action to address this issue by : Ghanatasala chanadrakiran
Ceasing all unauthorized use of my personal information and deleting it from your systems.
Taking steps to rectify any potential misuse or unauthorized sharing of my personal data.
Identifying the individuals responsible for the blackmail attempts and reporting them to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Providing me with a written apology for the distress caused and a guarantee that my personal information will not be misused or shared with any third parties.
Compensating me for any financial losses or damages incurred as a direct result of your company’s fraudulent activities and subsequent blackmail attempts.
I would like to remind you that failure to address this matter promptly and adequately may result in legal action being taken against your company to protect my rights and seek appropriate compensation for the damages caused.
I have enclosed copies of the relevant documents, including screenshots of the fraudulent loan app and WhatsApp conversations, as evidence of the wrongdoing. I request that you thoroughly investigate this matter and respond to my complaint within [reasonable time frame, 7 days].
