Dear Nodal Team,
I would like to lodge a complaint regarding Airtel Services for charging unnecessary amount for International Roaming Services. I own Airtel connection having No. 8750000090, for which I requested to customer care to activate the service of International Roaming with normal charges without having any Pack for the same.
Here is my grievance in the matter mentioned above:-
Actually, I went for a Foreign Trip of New Zealand in the month of December, 2019 for 10 days. I asked to customer care to activate my International Roaming Services with normal charges without starting any pack facility on my number and they agreed for the same. When I received a Bill for the period of 05.12.2019 to 04.01.2020 of Rs. 5410.41 including Rs. 3599 as one time charges for International Roaming services which was charged unnecessarily, I made a complaint to customer care in this regard and asked for these unnecessary charges. Then, they replied that I have to pay the whole amount of Bill otherwise the connection will be cut. When I opposed this thing, they cut my connection inappropriately. Therefore, I had to pay whole amount of Bill due to Airtel to start my number again.
Now, I want to claim my payment of Rs. 3599 which has been charged unnecessarily for starting International Roaming Services along with amount of compensation for the same. Please look into this matter on expedite and provide me a relief in this regard.
