Text of Complaint by Mrinal Chandan Chakrabortty:

My name is Mrinal Chandan Chakrabortty residing in Anand Part in Pune.

My complaint is against a very very high bill generated by Mahavitaran.

My last bill reading was taken on 13/03/20- wherein the meter reading was 6518 a consumption of 76 unit. I duly paid the amount of 530 INR on 26th March.

however during lockdown as there was no meter reading taken , I have paid the bill basis the SMSes recd from Electricty office and paid 530 INR on 21st April, 270 INR on 17th May and 450 on 6th July.

however to my surprise I had now recd a bill of 6080 INR a total billing unit from 13th march till 13th July of 889 units which is absolutely impossible.

secondly the charges made for the entire unit has been made in the month of july making the bill higher due to higher slab rate.

April billed is 65

May billed is 65

June Billed is 65

and July billed is 889

whereas it should have been average of 889 unit for 4 months.

I request this competent authority to check on the meter reading consumption which is showing a faulty reading and secondly on the calculation of the bill amount.
