I am filing this urgent complaint regarding the unauthorized and unexplained deactivation of my mobile number, 9822999621. This number was successfully ported to an Airtel Prepaid connection from Vodafone Idea Postpaid in July 2025 and was in active use. Since I travel to Ladakh for my job posting within 20 days of Porting until it became completely inactive around October 7, 2025 when I returned to Maharashtra. Despite the confirmed porting, Airtel customer service has provided conflicting information, stating the number is “not currently with Airtel,” and the Airtel store at Nashik Road failed to offer any clarity, which constitutes a severe deficiency in service. As this number is critically linked to all my essential services, including Bank accounts and Aadhaar Card, I urgently request immediate clarification on its official status and mandatory steps to reactivate and restore it to my ownership.
