Hello,
My name is Vivek Balakrishnan Videocon D2H Customer ID: 88484960. I am using Videocon d2h service from past 7 years. I am having normal SD box and it is not working from past 15 days. I requested for replacement box through your customer care service since my box is still under warranty as it was replaced for the same reason recently.
Service request number: 55464641, dated October 17, 2020.
Their service engineer simply called me the next day before coming to our home and asked me what kind of box we are using. I told him that it is a Old SD box. Then your engineer told me that Videocon is not having SD box anymore and he cannot swap the box. He didn’t even visit our home and got a message saying my issue was fixed and call was closed, but it was not.
Again, I called Videocon d2h customer care next day and the agent told me that he will take another complaint and send another engineer to fix it.
Service request number: 55724726 dated October 19th, 2020.
This time their engineer visited our home and told me Videocon is not having SD box anymore and Videocon going to stop service for SD box customer in 2 months and It is better to change to AIRTEL. Also he asked me to pay Rs. 200 for visiting charge, and if not he will detect that amount from my account balance.
I have recharged my service for 1 year pack and I am having a balance of Rs. 3325.
I don’t know whether Videocon d2h instructed their engineers to behave like this. How could a company will not provide proper service to a customer who always loyal to them.
After that I called them so many times, but their customer care agents were not at all responsive. They keep disconnecting my calls. I requested for their supervisor or manager. But nobody was ready to connect me to them.
I tried to call their nodal officer whose name is Pavithra. But there was no response and no reply for my email as well.
I want to file a legal consumer complaint against them and want my issue fixed. If not, I want my whole money refund
