I am writing this complaint to bring to your attention a complaint against Skullcandy India for not honoring their warranty policy. I purchased a pair of Skullcandy Bluetooth from an authorized dealer in India, and it’s not working from 2months.
As per the warranty policy mentioned on the company’s website, the product is covered for one year from the date of purchase. However, when I contacted their customer support team to claim the warranty, They suggest to send the item along with filled warranty form and Invoice. i sent the requirements and they reached to them on 24th Jan 2023. but later they always said its in underprocess from 1month.
I would like to highlight that the earphones were not subjected to any misuse or accidental damage, and the issue is clearly a manufacturing defect. Despite providing all the necessary details and proof of purchase, the company has not provided any resolution to my complaint.
I believe that the company’s refusal to honor the warranty policy is a clear violation of the Consumer Protection Act, and I am seeking your intervention to resolve this matter. I request the consumer court to take necessary action against Skullcandy India and direct them to either replace or repair the faulty product as per their warranty policy.
