I had created an account with Simpl pay in April. But never received an email or message mentioning my account was activated. Then on the same day I ordered food through Zomato and I paid the delivery guy through Google Pay. And after some days I did the same and paid through cash. In the month of May I received emails and messages from Simpl pay asking me clear my bills. Then I informed the situation to both Simpl pay and Zomato. Zomato confirmed that they received payment from my side and asked me to contact Simpl pay. But Simpl pay didn’t accept this and said they had paid to Zomato and Zomato will not refund them. They even fined 250 rupees extra and asked me to clear the bills as soon as possible. I had to tell them
Several times but insists me to pay. They are still calling me every single day and messaging. I did a big mistake by creating an account with Simpl pay. But I had already cleared my bills directly to Zomato and I don’t owe anything to Simpl pay. If Simpl pay had paid bills to Zomato on my behalf it’s not me who has to get them back to Simpl pay. They have to contact them directly. From my side everything is cleared. It’s quite annoying and disturbing.
