Text of Complaint by Anusha:

I had taken a loan from Rupee112 in March 2025, with a due date of April 5, 2025.

Due to financial hardship and multiple ongoing loans, I was unable to repay the full amount of ₹1,00,000 at once. I requested a loan restructuring into 2 EMIs or a settlement offer.

I had sent multiple emails requesting support prior to the due date, but received no response.

Instead, their collection team started harassing me via WhatsApp, using abusive and insulting language, such as calling me a “beggar” for asking for settlement.

They shouted aggressively, refused to listen, and sent agents to my residence without prior notice, demanding immediate payment.

I also raised grievances multiple times, but no action has been taken by the company.

Recently, they even threatened to approach my office and speak with HR, causing me further distress.

This harassment has caused me severe mental stress and is a direct violation of RBI guidelines on fair practices and loan recovery methods.

I request the Consumer Forum to take the following actions:

1. Investigate Rupee112 for misconduct and harassment.

2. Direct the lender to restructure or settle the loan fairly, as per RBI guidelines.

3. Take action for violation of consumer rights and privacy.

4. Provide compensation for the mental stress and trauma caused.
