I took a loan from Navi and I have paid first 4 payments atleast a week before due date. Now I missed just 1 EMI and for that reason Navi has been harassing me since Aug 9th. I lost my phone and because of that I couldn’t pay the EMI. Now they are trying to charge me double for missing one emi. From what I know the late fee is the penalty for being late or for not paying. However Navi is charging against me a bounce fee, a late fee per week and a 2% penalty charge and when I called their customer care they were also not able to explain what the penalty charge is for or what is the difference between penalty charge and late fee. Their agent I contacted lied to me about not having a supervisor to assist me when I could clearly hear the agent and the supervisor talk in the background for which I have an audio proof. More over that they are calling me like at least 20 times a day. I work in night shifts and because of these calls I was not able to sleep properly and one day I turned my phone off to avoid their call and because of that I missed a very important call regarding an interview. They are treating a customer who made 4 payments prior to this before the due date like a cheater or fraud and not providing any assistance to ease the payment or not providing any extensions. The Navi has become a very irresponsible company who only cares for money even if it is just 10₹. Even if I am a customer they are treating me without respect. Please take necessary actions to protect the dignity of a customer.
